Alongside our innovative product portfolio, AGH prides itself on having a high performing sales team that continues to exceed market industry product adoption rates and customer service.
AGH is owned by three shareholders that are dedicated to improving women’s healthcare across the globe. With more than 40 years of experience combined, the shareholders have a proven track record of launching and driving sales of innovative products across multiple healthcare sectors.
As an SME, we like to work a little differently to the large healthcare companies. We know that SMEs have significant advantages over larger companies and can offer talented individuals; responsibilities, empowerment, significant earning potential and continual education regardless of age.
The AGH team believes age is just a number and have subsequently chosen to work with talented graduates from leading Universities. We know that if a hard-working, intelligent and confident team member, regardless of age, is provided with the right training and support, they can become a leading medical sales representative in just a few years. We also know that the key to excelling in the first few years of a career is to provide individuals with responsibilities far beyond their age alongside the relevant support to succeed.
As a result, alongside the management team, AGH’s success to date can be attributed to a gifted sales team that works closely with all of the NHS obstetrics and gynecology acute care units throughout the UK. The team has developed a close relationship with key opinion leaders, OBGYN consultants, midwives and procurement teams. These relationships combined with advanced knowledge of priming markets, early-stage sales, guideline development and wide-scale adoption of innovative products has made AGH a market leader in women’s health sales and a go to partner for obstetrics and gynecology innovators.
We also work differently to other distributors. AGH will never stop challenging the status-quo and unlike other distributors, AGH doesn’t just expect its sales team to simply sell products in particular geographical regions across the UK. The decision to recruit talented individuals means our team offers far more than the typical medical product distributor. Alongside, day-to-day selling, the AGH team has a proven track record of:
– Developing UK clinical studies to prime markets, enable the successful launch of products and drive rapid product adoption.
– Developing advanced marketing strategies for lead generation, customer service and continual market development.
– Guidance and support with product adoption in key clinical guidelines.
– The inclusion of products on innovative initiatives/programs that enable rapid product uptake.
Furthermore, unlike other distributors, AGH’s strategy is not to grow a huge portfolio. We do not believe massive product portfolios can drive company growth in a sustainable and effective manner. As a result, AGH is a highly selective over the products it chooses to sell. We believe in doing things properly and never including a product in our portfolio that does not receive the focus it deserves. That’s why AGH only works with products that we know can truly make a difference to women’s and children’s lives and subsequently will drive our team to sell every day.
As a company that believes in working with graduates we believe an enjoyable company environment is key to success. We are a close-knit team that enjoys each other’s company, as a team we regularly socialize together and have planned social events periodically. As of 2019 we will hold an annual company retreat, in which we get to spend time together away from work. In late 2019, we will also be opening a sales office in central London. The AGH team knows that success cannot be achieved without hard work but we also recognise that to maintain the success the work environment needs to be fun and the team needs to gel.
